"Spook" is unlike anything I've listened to recently. Clocking in at almost ten minutes, it meanders through dissonant rhythms and spare refrains of guitar without entirely abandoning structure or progression. A strange and beautiful track that belongs in a clearing in the woods as much as it does in the lounge of an abandoned hotel, "Spook" is worth the ten minutes it takes to listen to. Seriously. TĀLĀ, who dropped the phenomenal "The Duchess" about a month ago, is out with her debut EP of the same name. Bursting from scattered applause, "On My Own in Hua Hin" is exotic (Hua Hin is a beach resort town in Thailand), frantically percussive, and (as many have pointed out) rather Jai Paul-esque. Let Me Get Music is up and running once again! Apologies for the month-long hiatus; hopefully the smattering of SoundCloud re-posts were sufficient.
