You might not think that a funked-out, thumping, droning, nine-minute-long version of Phoenix's "SOS in Bel Air" would be any good. Jackson Fourgeaud, the Frenchman behind Jackson and His Computerband, might convince you otherwise. It's weird and warped, oscillating between catchy and off-putting; still, from the music-box-like opening to the reverberating finish, it makes for quite an enjoyable ride––and an entirely different track.
