Nothing to kick the Daily Dose back off like this star-studded track. "Hero" is the newest addition to Converse's Three Artists, One Song series, which brought together James Murphy, André 3000, and Gorillaz on "DoYaThing" and Mark Foster, Kimbra, and A-Trak on "Warrior." This time, it should be Four Artists, One Song, as Frank Ocean, Diplo, and Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash have collaborated on "Hero," where the characteristically jangling guitar of Jones erupts from the smooth, Frank Ocean-led doo-wop of the intro. Featuring the West Los Angeles Children's Choir, this track is smooth and jarring, refined and rough, the kind of track that only these four could have crafted.
