Kyla La Grange is back––with more cutting to do. "The Knife" is the second track from La Grange's upcoming album, Cut Your Teeth, and definitely feels thematically and musically similar to the wonderfully poignant title track (whose remix by Kygo has achieved far more popularity than the original). While the steel drum vibe of "The Knife" make it a bit breezier than "Cut Your Teeth," the lyrics––"One night you cut into my head / with a cold, bright fear that struck me dead"––are even darker, even more hopelessly retrospective.
