Here are two tracks to start off your weekend––and to make up for the inconsistent postings this past week.

While it's impossible to beat the breezy, carefree groove of the original, English electronic duo Bondax has offered a fabulously funky take on Duke Dumont's "I Got U." Stream it below.



Also, Parisian Zimmer and Asia-based Amadei have collaborated on a reworking of France Gall's 1987 track "Ella, Elle l'a." While it doesn't manipulate the original too much, the remix turns the slickly sparse combo of cowbell and guitar in the original into a fuller and funkier track, even if it still sounds inescapably 80s.
